Our Friday night gatherings consist of gospel-teaching, worship, games, community, food and a whole lot of fun. The kind of environment that happens at Liberti Youth allows for our students to grow in the gospel as well as making new friends and great memories.
The church we see is a joy-filled, missional community of people who live to know Jesus and make Jesus known, wherever we are.
Every Sunday, our children (1yrs through Grade 5) gather in safe, fun, and age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and engaging way. Through gospel-centred curriculum (we use The Gospel Project), singing, colouring-in, and games, our desire is that every child experiences a heart transformation that can only take place through the powerful message of the love of Jesus.
Because we deeply care about your child and their safety, all of our Liberti Kids volunteers have been trained and have current Blue Cards (which includes government background checks).
Our Red Frog Crew spends most of their time hanging out at Griffith Uni Village during o-week and study week. Then, throughout the semester you will see them at hydration stations in parties, cooking pancakes, and doing many other random acts of kindness to help support university students during their studies.
We love the students at Griffith University and our favourite part of the week is cooking up hundreds of free pancakes every Thursday morning!
Outside of our Sunday worship gatherings, Gospel Communities at Liberti are the main thing we do. We gather in GC’s with our friends and neighbours to live life together and experience the gospel in ways we can’t on our own. It is here that disciples are made, pastoral care happens, leaders are developed, followers of Jesus deepen in holiness, and the beautiful relational life of the New Testament Church is experienced. We believe that God has created us in such a way that we are only truly healthy when we live life in community.
